The promoted sectors and their respective minimum investment capital are as following:

  • Agriculture and forestry, agro-processing and handicraft. Registered capital of more than US $ 300,000 is required.
  • Infrastructure development (not on contractual basis), minimum of US $ 500,000 of registered capital.
  • Production of raw materials and equipment to be supplied to key industrial activities.  Minimum of US 500,000 of registered capital.
  • Tourism and transit services, minimum of US $ 500,000 registered capital.
  • Production and supply of equipment, construction materials and spare parts to other industries. Minimum requirements of US $ 1,000,000 of registered capital.
  • Export production with registered capital of more than US $ 300,000 and export not less than 80% of the total production.
  • Industrial processing with modern technologies, scientific research and development, environment and biodiversity protection activities. The minimum requirement of registered capital is US $ 500,000, utilisation of 100% new materials with certification from producers or reliable institutes. Minimum requirements for scientific research activities are US $ 100,000.
  • Human resources development, skills development and public health.  Minimum requirements of registered capital are US $ 100,000.
